My favourite creator tools

This is a shorter but a goodie blog post. Here I am sharing some of my favourite design tools. You may already be using these and if you are, fantastic. If not, they are a great resource to make creating your marketing graphics so much easier. I have listed free and paid resources below.

Here are my favourite content and design tools that will save you time in your business

Affordable and free stock sites:

My favourite affordable stock sites are Adobe stock and istock photo. istock photo is an all inclusive stock site with icons, videos and photography and is a great and affordable option. Adobe stock is also a great royalty free option for stock images. Two incredible free stocks sites are Pexels and Unsplash. You could even go one step further and credit the incredible artist that make these beautiful images available to use online.

High end stock sites

If you have the budget and would like to choose more artistic images - be sure to check out Getty Images, Masterfile and Shutterstock. Here you will find very high quality images for your marketing.

Colour

If you’d like to learn more about colour and creating colour palettes, here are three sites that you won’t want to miss - Smashing magazine, Adobe Color and Sprout Social. If you need help creating colour palettes or would love to see a bit more inspiration in a different visual form, Adobe Color has you covered, so be sure to check out the website here and consider signing up for Adobe products.

Fonts

Sometimes the best solutions are right in front of you. Including Google and Adobe again. Google fonts has a huge range of fonts that fit all brand types and if you subscribe to Adobe’s Creative Cloud, don’t forget that you have access to a wide variety of fonts through Adobe Fonts. Just make sure that you check the licensing before you start using any fonts that you haven’t used before.
