Description:
Scotia Strategic ETF Portfolios was a new financial product that was launched by Scotiabank at the end of May 2018. It was the first line of ETF’s that the bank had ever offered and needed to have a noticeable presence while still keeping with the bank’s highly recognizable and well-established brand identity.
The newly designed wordmark is simple, modern and makes use of Scotia’s corporate typeface. The corners around the product name make reference to the ticker symbols used in 
the stock exchange and the open square suggests future expansion of products offered and the willingness to adapt to the needs of the bank’s clients.
A main wordmark, ETF-specific wordmarks and individual ticker symbols were designed (in English and French) for the product launch. Marketing collateral included English and French brochures, FAQ sheets, Distribution Schedules, banners and posters.
